Ensuring Your Needs Are Met

The Office of Student Accessibility Services (SAS) works with students with disabilities to determine reasonable accommodations and ensure that they have equal access to all aspects of their education.

In accordance with equal education opportunity laws, F&M arranges to provide appropriate accommodations for students whose disabilities limit their participation in academic programs for which they are qualified.

Every admitted student will have the opportunity to register with SAS. Any information provided to SAS is considered confidential. Appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities are determined on an individual basis utilizing the required documentation of the disability.

Academic Accommodations

We ask that you notify the Office of Student Accessibility Services at F&M if you require reasonable accommodations while on campus. Please note that F&M does not have a special program for students with disabilities. For example, there are no special classes or tutors for students with learning disabilities or ADHD. The academic support programs are the same for all students.

Additional Accommodations

F&M also arranges to provide appropriate accommodations in dining, housing, language studies, emotional support animals, and service dogs.
